About Me

My photo
We started our eternal family November 8, 2008 in the Logan temple. Our beautiful son was born August 28, 2009. We are so blessed to be parents we don't know what we would do without Isaiah! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives! We thank heavenly father daily! Mike builds and fixes computers, is trying to start up two businesses, going to school and is working for ThermoFisher. I get to work at Post High working with special needs students part time and be a full time mom I love both my jobs! We are busy to say the least but when we have free time we enjoy taking Isaiah to the park, going on walks, watching movies, and spending time with our wonderful friends and families!

Adriana Grace Corral

Friday December 7th I had my first weekly check up, I had been joking on how nice it would be to have Dr. Olsen check me and tell me to just go ahead and go right up stairs, little to my surprise I was in fact dilated to a 4 and effaced to a 75%! I was jumping up and down with joy I thought for sure I wouldn't be progressed at all because of how bad I wanted to be! Kayla came to the appointment with me (we were spending as much time together before she up and left me and my kids) after we left we decided to grab some lunch, the whole time we together we were trying to figure when little Miss would make her grand appearance we both agreed that the big day would be the 12th Kayla left to go down to the red rock something lol and Mike and I got ready to go get Christmas shopping done and over with the whole time we were out shopping I was contracting and having HORRIBLE back pain which meant I was so not in the shopping mood, which meant we didn't get a whole lot done. When we got home we talked to my parents for awhile and after about an hour and a half of still being in pain I told Mike I wanted to go to the hospital so my parents packed up Isaiah and off we went, after getting to the hospital they hooked me up to the monitors and watched my contractions for a hour after seeing that I was in labor they called the on call doctor (Dr. Olsen was out that weekend just my luck) to see what he wanted to do with me because I had just got my group b test done that day they didn't have the results and had to treat me as if I tested positive just to be safe, I had to have 2 doses of the medicine before pushing so they decided they weren't going to speed up labor at all (JOY) things were going well and after I was dilated to a 5 for the second time of checking me I wanted my epidural to hopefully help me be able to sleep it was about 4 am and I was so sleepy but couldn't sleep worth pooh! The doctor came in and put me epidural in and like 5 minutes after he left I started feeling super dizzy and like I was going to throw up Mike ran and got the nurse she came in and said that my blood pressure had dropped and had me sit up for a couple of minutes which seemed to help then it wasn't helping again I started throwing up and feeling like my arms were going numb to say the least it was horrible and I almost wish I wouldn't have got the dumb thing! Finally around 8 the doctor was able to come and break my water and that sure helped things speed up by 10:30 I was ready to push and Little Adriana was born at 11:10 am she looked just like her big brother and was doing amazing for being 4 weeks early she passed all her test with flying colors!
