About Me

My photo
We started our eternal family November 8, 2008 in the Logan temple. Our beautiful son was born August 28, 2009. We are so blessed to be parents we don't know what we would do without Isaiah! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives! We thank heavenly father daily! Mike builds and fixes computers, is trying to start up two businesses, going to school and is working for ThermoFisher. I get to work at Post High working with special needs students part time and be a full time mom I love both my jobs! We are busy to say the least but when we have free time we enjoy taking Isaiah to the park, going on walks, watching movies, and spending time with our wonderful friends and families!

St. Paddy's Day

We had a GREAT St. Patrick's Day!! I love holidays everyone of them and I want Isaiah to look back on his childhood and LOVE IT and be able to pass some of our little traditions to his kids!

He woke up to Rainbow Waffles with cottage cheese clouds (the waffles were a pain I will have to find something a little easier) He LOVED them, lately he hasn't been eating good he had two FULL waffles and he ate all his clouds I was such a happy momma! After breakfast he got to pick out a show to watch he picked BOLT he LOVES this show haha!

After he woke up from his nap he ate his green lunch, then we walked over to the park behind our house! He is such a boy!! I took him down the big slide after going down a couple time together he decided that mom wasn't fast enough so he ran up to it and went down by him self! He LOVED it, the second he got down he was climbing right back up to go again so CUTE!

Later we went out to Grams and Papas house to tell them HAPPY ST.PADDY'S DAY haha! We hung out there the rest of the night Isaiah LOVES to be there he is always such a SAD SAD boy when we leave! My Parents are so AMAZING last Oct. the decided that they were going to start doing Foster Care they went to the classes and everything passed the home check on the first visit which doesn't happen very often, then the office did their paper work in record time which again doesn't happen they told them it would take up to a month maybe longer because it was right before Christmas! So the case worker had said that someone must NEED to be in the Barretts home! In Feb. they got their fast placement, things didn't go like everyone hopped so she was placed with a different family, My mom had a really hard time with it because she felt like she was giving up on this girl, so the social worker told her that she could be the girls life couch and that my mom could still take her and do things with her which made my mom feel a little better about it all! Last wed. they got another call about a placement it was a group of siblings 3 brothers my parents prayed about it and felt like it was good idea so they now have a 11 year old, 10 year old, and a 8 year old they are so CUTE and it is such a different feel then the first placement the boys are so EXCITED about everything when my mom pulled up to the house for the first time they all said OH I LOVE MY NEW HOUSE! IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL! then when they met all of us OH I LOVE MY NEW SISTERS, I LOVE MY BROTHERS! I just LOVE them already they are all so fun and cute with Isaiah, they love babies! The youngest brother D asked my mom how long they could stay with their "New Mom" she said well how long do you want to stay, he said with a huge grin Forever and EVER! J the second oldest told my mom that he doesn't want to go back to live with his real mom he wants to stay with her she asked how come and he said because you are a better mom to me and my brothers, you take better care of us and I LOVE you! Blah how sweet is that! I can't even think about them leaving without getting sad! My mom is just WonderWomen to me she is not only a mom to me, Kayla, Gabby, and Austin she is now a mom to R, J, and D and she is a life couch to C, then on top of all that she is a WONDERFUL Grandma to Isaiah and a way cool PE teacher as well! She ROCKS my socks! I hope to be half the women she is when I grow up!
