About Me

My photo
We started our eternal family November 8, 2008 in the Logan temple. Our beautiful son was born August 28, 2009. We are so blessed to be parents we don't know what we would do without Isaiah! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives! We thank heavenly father daily! Mike builds and fixes computers, is trying to start up two businesses, going to school and is working for ThermoFisher. I get to work at Post High working with special needs students part time and be a full time mom I love both my jobs! We are busy to say the least but when we have free time we enjoy taking Isaiah to the park, going on walks, watching movies, and spending time with our wonderful friends and families!

Venting...

I know I am sorry this is my journal tho so if you don't like it don't read it easy as that :) why is it that everyone and their dog is either preggo or just had their babies don't get me wrong I am thrilled for them I really am I just can't help but be a tad bit jealous! I have been bit hard by the baby bug I started feeling it really bad around Isaiah's birthday and the long time goes the worst it gets, I wish my dear sweet hubby felt the same way I completely get his reasoning as to why he feels we should just wait, but at the same time I could care a less I am so ready to be pregnant again which is a huge deal because I hated it the first time haha! I am so ready to have another sweet little spirit in our home! and to be honest I could care a less if I have a boy or girl which is another huge deal haha! We have gone to the temple and prayed about it and we didn't really get an answer so I guess I just need to be patient! Its just so DANG hard! anyways I really just needed to write that some where sorry that you have to read it :) onto other news this Month has been a crazy one! I got a different job still working with special needs just in elem. aged kids I am bummed that I have to leave the kids I work with now they are all so much fun and I really have enjoyed working with them, this job will just be better for me and my little family! I start Jan. 3 yay!! I had a scare a couple Saturdays ago I had a cyst burst but didn't know that was what was happening so we went in to the ER haha so much fun! I had to go in for a check up to make sure things looked ok with my ob and he told me I have another one yay for me I have to go back in in 6 weeks to make sure it hasn't grown if it has I might have to have it surgically removed... so we shall see how that goes! Mike is working his life away like always he is such a good hubby and daddy! We sure do love him! Isaiah is growing like a weed he looks and acts older every day (another reason as to why I want a baby) we are in potty training full swing, he is so cute he will tell me momma I pee then run to the bathroom as fast as his little legs will carry him laughing the whole time I love it! Today I didn't put a diaper on at nap time so we will see if he is dry when he does decide to wake up! That is what is going on with us!

My Lovely Hips

For a long while now my hips have kind been bugging me, when I cheered there were times I felt like my hip had popped out and would not go in which made landing jumps extremely hard/painful, I never really thought anything of it and really other then when it felt like it popped they didn't bug me. When I was pregnant my hips kill all the time, and I felt like they were popping out a ton, it was hard to get up after sitting for a long time things like that I had heard hip pain was normal so I just brushed it off. My Aunt has horrible hip problems she was diagnosed with congenital hip displayshia and has had to have 4 hip surgerys and she is only 38 years young, the doctors always tell her if they would have caught it sooner they wouldn't be doing all that they have to do to the poor lady! I have always wanted to run and this summer I finally decided that I was going to start I was able to get on a Ragnar team with my Mom and Dad, the more I traded the more my hips hurt and the harder it was to get up, get out of the car, get in/out of bed, things that shouldn't cause pain to my hips. One day after a run I decided I was sick of it and asked my cute Aunt what made her go into the doctor and what to look out for as she told me her story I just sat there and crossed things off oh my list, I was scared to death she said that if running caused them pain she wouldn't run, I just laughed and didn't really listen knowing that I had just paid for Ragnar I wasn't going to back out then! My mom made me promise I would go to the doctor after Ragnar so I finally go around to it, and I as well have what my poor Aunt has all though it is not as bad, what happens is our hip joint is missed shaped so when we move our hip joint it is rubbing bone to bone here is a picture:

This is a NORMAL hip

This is like MY hip

Thankfully I am still pretty young, and somewhat healthy my doctor said that if I am willing to do some workouts, and take some pills hopefully it will make my joints stronger then they are right at the moment which should buy me a LONG while before I have to get hip replacements like my Aunt as long as I do them daily. Then he also said that as of right now he doesn't want me to run, I was a little bummed I had just been asked to do another relay race, I really wanted to do an all girls Ragnar team, and my sister and I decided to do a half this summer :( but hopefully with me doing what I am told I will be able to do those things later down the road! I am very lucky that it is not worse, I was a little worried that he was going to say I couldn't get pregnant (because of the weight I gain while pregnant) or that I couldn't carry Isaiah anymore things like that I am just so glad he didn't! So if anyone knows of somewhere that teaches yoga, or maybe a cycling class here in Logan let me know because those are two things I need to try!
