About Me

My photo
We started our eternal family November 8, 2008 in the Logan temple. Our beautiful son was born August 28, 2009. We are so blessed to be parents we don't know what we would do without Isaiah! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives! We thank heavenly father daily! Mike builds and fixes computers, is trying to start up two businesses, going to school and is working for ThermoFisher. I get to work at Post High working with special needs students part time and be a full time mom I love both my jobs! We are busy to say the least but when we have free time we enjoy taking Isaiah to the park, going on walks, watching movies, and spending time with our wonderful friends and families!

Baby Isaish Is Here!

So I guess all I had to do is write that post, I woke up Friday Aug. 28, 2009 having some major back pain and a ton of contractions so we came to the hospital. I was still dilated to a 4 so I got to walk around for a hour to see if any thing would change after the long hour they checked me again and I had dilated to a five woot woot! My doctor came and broke my water and things started moving next time they checked I was dilated to a 6 plus, then things started to slow down for about 2 hours I was put on pit which is to make the contractions come stronger and faster it worked for about a half hour then the baby's heart rate dropped a bit which worried the nurse so they took me off that and then the contractions really started coming the next thing I knew I was dilated to a 8 and they were ready for me to start pushing.... I pushed for a good hour and a half and he just didn't want to come out, and his heart rate was dropping again and not coming back up, so my doc got out the vac. and with 3 pushes my son was here! He weighed 5 lbs 15 oz. and is 18 1/2 inches long he was born at 9:39 pm and won the cutest baby in the nursery award lol that is right my baby is already a winner! Pictures will be coming soon!

Waiting...

Monday started the lovely weekly visits to the doctor... He told me that I was dilated to a 4 and that I was 75% effaced which was GREAT to hear because I didn't even think that I was having contractions so that means I basically am done with the longest part of labor and I had no idea that it was going on! This also scares the crap out of me because I guess I don't know what contractions feel like so how will I know when to go to the hospital to spit this baby out? Anyways Monday night I went to work and I had a few contractions which made me so excited but scared out of my mind, as soon as I got home they were done, Tuesday I woke up went to work had some more thought to myself today is the day and then nothing, Wednesday I woke up went a few places with my loving husband the contractions were 20 mins apart and then they would be 3 mins apart and then the next would be 20 mins apart again, this is how it went on the rest of the day. Mike came home from work and I went up to get ready for bed and I thought that my water had broke so I told mike and wait to see if it was just a one time thing or if it really had well I woke up every 3 hours making sure that it hadn't really broke and sure enough it wasn't my water.... this morning I went to work and had no contractions and haven't really had any today I am so so SICK of waiting I wish my doctor wouldn't had told me anything and then I would just think this was all NORMAL, but every little feeling I get I think AHH what is that should I go to the hospital! Its killing me, I just want to have my baby here with us so we can start our cute little family! Anyways if anyone knows some tricks to get this labor going let me know! Sorry this is so long and no pictures!

Update...

We haven't done anything super fun this last couple of weeks thats why there hasn't been a post for awhile. We have been busy with getting ready for Isaiah to come which to us has been pretty fun a couple of weeks ago i finally got mike to help paint the babys room... Ok really mike painted pretty much all of the room by his self as i sat and watched and told him he had missed spots or that he was doing great! I did help with this one wall! Mike and I notice my stomach is huge! I am now 35 weeks, I have 5 more weeks which equals 32 more days and that is if Isaiah doesn't want to come early! I am so ready to just have him here and be done with being prego! Mike on the other hand is FREAKIN out about him coming early lol he wants him to be done cooking... Hopefully he will be here soon!

Summer Time

Here are some of the picture from what we have been up too this fine summer ENJOY!

For Mike's Birthday I threw a party for him, and got him a grill!
Mikes cake had a little grill on it that started on fire because he had so many candles he is getting old 23!

This is mike and his grill every night he wants to cook dinner on it! Which is nice for me!

This weekend we went up to Bear Lake for the day it was so nice! Here we are with our favorite Cousins and Best Friends Alex and Jayne Nelson!

The Boys

Jayne and I the Boys thought the water was too cold!

Me using my belly as a cup holder it actually works pretty good!

If its going to be that big I might as well use it right!

Mike and I and the Baby bump! It was so so green and pretty!

I am now 30 weeks and counting! Only 10 more and we will be parents that is a scary thought! Funny story Mike and I went car seat shopping, and learned very quickly that we have A LOT to learn before Isaiah gets here or we will be in trouble, we spent a good 20 mins trying to get one of the car seats off the base we finally broke down and started to read the Manuel (something Mike does not do) to see how the heck you get it off, we got it off and then moved on to the next one we quickly got it off the base but could not for the life of us get it back in the base, with an older couple watching us laughing we were done! We still haven't purchased a car seat in fear that we won't be able to understand how to use it! If anyone knows of a class we can take car seats one oh one that would be great! We are very excited for the up coming months and and the fun thinks we get to look forward too even tho we have A LOT to learn!
