About Me
- Mike and Raquel Corral
- We started our eternal family November 8, 2008 in the Logan temple. Our beautiful son was born August 28, 2009. We are so blessed to be parents we don't know what we would do without Isaiah! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives! We thank heavenly father daily! Mike builds and fixes computers, is trying to start up two businesses, going to school and is working for ThermoFisher. I get to work at Post High working with special needs students part time and be a full time mom I love both my jobs! We are busy to say the least but when we have free time we enjoy taking Isaiah to the park, going on walks, watching movies, and spending time with our wonderful friends and families!

Holy cow we are half way to 2, I am so excited for this because my uncles will be home and will be able to finally meet my adorable kid!! And maybe just maybe I can get Mike talked into maybe start trying for baby number 2 haha I highly doubt this but a girl can dream right haha ;) Isaiah went to nursery all by himself Sunday he totally rocked went straight in and started playing TEAR my baby is growing up!

- He talks nonstop he hasn't really said anything new basically same old words! He did say eww last night while eating, and this morning I swear he said Thank You perfectly! He understands what he is saying and it is so fun but can also be so frustrating, the other night as we were eating dinner I said "here eat this bread" and he goes "OH NOOO!" what a stinker!
- When he wants to watch tv/a movie he turns on the tv and sits on the couch waiting for me to do the rest!
- He totally understands pretty much everything I tell him (love this)
- Does Set Hike sooo cute!
- If I am singing or humming he will hum the tune.
- He is a wonderful helper he loves to unload the dishwasher, throw things away, grab things in the store, give daddy things, and sweep.
- He folds his arms when we say prayers, and sometimes he will gibber jabber a prayer! This is probably the cutest thing he does I LOVE it!

Feeding the Ducks and a BIG boy bed!!

Well I can't remember if I had mentioned this or not but, Isaiah is in a toddler bed holy crazy!! He does really good with it naps are a little hard, he gets out and pulls out all his clothes, makes HUGE messes, and usually ends up sleeping on the floor some where haha and at nights he does wonderful he runs up and climbs into bed waits for his bottle kisses me and is perfect the rest of the night! I don't think I have shown any pictures of his room because mostly I am still working on it along with the rest of my house... blah why must I LOVE Pottery Barn and be poor??? NOT a good comb! Anyways I have became a thriftafreakinaholic and I am determined to make my house a home that is both beautiful and comfy! anyways blah blah blah On to the rest of the post, Last Tuesday it was so very BEAUTIFUL outside it was nice and warm sun was shinning snow was gone so I woke Isaiah up from his nap and we went to feed the ducks he LOVED it oh so much! I broke up the bread and held it out to him he grabbed a few pieces and shoved them into his mouth then he quickly spit it out and threw it out to the ducks I had a good laugh!! We loved being outside playing watching the cars go by and feeding the ducks such a GREAT day!!
I can't wait for the weather to be good all the time so that we can do fun things!!

- Isaiah is a blanket lover but he is just like momma and has to feel them and make sure it is soft enough haha! He has three favorite blankets thank goodness (the way he NEEDS them all the time they get dirty fast!) Nap times and bed time he takes the corner of the blanket and rubs his face I love this I think it is so cute!

- Words that Isaiah says dog, baba (bottle) momma & mom, dadda, hi, papa, hello, uh tat (whats that & want that) otay (ok) go vroom vroom (car, truck, four wheeler)
- At bed time he runs to Mike and gives him big kisses and hugs starts for upstairs runs back to Mike and does another big kiss goes up stairs lays down on the floor and waits for me to change him, then runs to his bed and climbs in pull the blanket up lays his head down say uh tat while pointing to his bottle kisses me and then he quite until 9 the next morning!
- This kid has a pretty dang good arm, he loves to throw things that are round, he thinks everything round is a ball. I am pretty sure papa will have him in football, baseball and basketball as soon as he is old enough to be on a team haha!!
- Climbs on, in, out of everything he can get on the kitchen table and bar he is a little monkey!
- LOVES lotion he loves to rub it on him the floor mom the tv the doors his bed the mirrors, but he also loves to eat it weirdo

January so far...
Meet the newest addition to the Corral household!! Isn't he a total doll, those chub cheeks, and all that hair!! Haha I am totally JOKING he is not ours, but I would take him home if I could, Mike cousin Alex and his cute girlyfriend had Mr. Tatum on Monday, and we were lucky enough to be able to go meet him that day :) We are so excited for them and their cute little family!!
Mike and Alex have always been super close growing up and now that we are married Alex and Bri has became one of our Besties!! We love hanging out with them the are so much fun! And we are so excited for Isaiah and Tatum to grow up together and hopefully be as close as Mike and Alex! We already have tons of plans for this summer and as they get a little older!! Monday morning we found out that Bri's water had broke, both Mike and I were so excited, it almost felt like we were going threw it all again without the stress and pain of labor!!

I love his chubby cheeks! So cute! Bri is a champ I would have died, he weighed 8 lbs 9oz. Isaiah already LOVE baby Tatum I was showing him pictures, he stole my phone, kissed the picture, said "hi', and would not give back the phone haha such a turd! through out the day he would kiss the picture it was so stinking cute!!
Haha here is a couple random pictures of Isaiah, after he runs around like a mad man he gets really sweaty Mike loves doing this because his hair stand straight up and with it being as long as it is, it is pretty funny looking I didn't get any good after shoots so you just get this... But I think it is too funny I LOVE his face! Priceless!! I will be pulling out this on the first date!! ;)
He is so stinking smart it kills me we show him something and he does it! Mike would put his arms and legs up then count to three and drop them, Isaiah watched the first time and the next time he did it, dropping right at three! He thought it was so funny! I love that he loves Mike so much! I love watching them play so CUTE!!

A couple weekends ago Isaiah and I built a fort, He wasn't to sure about it at first but after I showed him what it was all about he was loving it, we had a picnic lunch and watch the Jungle Book it was so much fun being able to spend that time with him!

Goodbye 2010 Hello 2011
I cannot believe how fast 2010 went by, I feel like once you become a parent time literally flies by, and I wish it was the other way around!! 2010 has been a great year, but also a tough year! I have loved being a stay at home momma, but some days I felt like I was going to pull all my hair out and then Isaiah's hair too being a mom is so hard but oh so worth it! Mike and I have became even closer and have learned during hard times come together and count on the lord he knows what he is doing! I think both Mike and I have learned a HUGE testimony in tithing it blows us away every week that we have that extra little bit of money to get us by when mathematically we should be in the negatives! Living on one pay check is hard thankfully I was able to get a job babysitting to be able to help a little this year! We have had tons of fun being parents and finally realize why our parents did things it wasn't because they wanted to be mean, they love us and were trying to keep us safe and out of trouble! We have had car troubles, got in to our 4th wreak (we have THEE worst luck when it comes to wreaks) we had our car broke into. We have laughed alot, cried some (in my case afreakinton), and loved even more! We have learned to always tell each other how much we love them, because you NEVER know when they will leave this earth! We celebrated Isaiah first year of life! This past year was a GREAT learning year! I am excited to see what heavenly father has waiting for us this year!
Somethings that I would Love to see happen this year would be:
- I want to blog more this is the only form of a journal I have so I NEED to be better at it!
- Spend more time as a family, do things together so that we are use to it when Isaiah is older!
- Be a more active mom, play with Isaiah take him and do things explain thing as I am doing things!
- Be a way better Homemaker, keep house clean, make dinner things like that
- Become a better cook and learn how to enjoy it
- Go to the temple at least once a month
- Read my scriptures
- Be able to make my house into a HOME
- Train for the Ranger and be able to run it with my dad!
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Years!
16 Months...
Are you kidding me 16 freakin months old... Where did the time go!?! In February my baby is going to be able to go to Nursery, I am not to sure how i feel about this, don't get me wrong I cannot wait to be able to teach my primary class and not have to worry about him and what he is doing and to be able to have mike in there with me every week will be so nice, BUT he is really going to be old enough to be in nursery blah it is so weird!! This month has been so much fun with Christmas and New Years we have done a ton of PARTYIN! I am pretty positive Isaiah is going to be a party animal! He has LOVED all the attention for all our families and he has LOVED to be able to show off to anyone that will give him the time of the day!! Not a ton has changed with Isaiah... so this is going to be pretty short and sweet! :) Isaiah LOVES (and when I say LOVES that is a understatement) to help Grams (my mom) with washing dishes, as soon as we get there he run to the sink and wants to be picked up! He has been shaking and nodding for awhile now but I believe he understands what it means if he doesn't want something or is doing something he know dang well he shouldn't be he shakes his head, if you ask him if he wants something, or ask him if he wants to go bye bye he nods! This kid LOVES to go places he love to be able to go! Isaiah also LOVES the snow (he did NOT get this from me) when he looks out side he gets so stinkin excited and anytime we are outside he is freakin out because he want to touch it! Isaiah said his first sentence "Hi Dad" he has said it more then once so cute! That is all I can think of at this moment I am sure there is more but my brain NEVER works! I love you Boggie you make life worth living :) Mamma and daddy are so lucky to have you in our family!!
