Preparedness Fair

With all that has been going on in the world lately I am freaking out and just want to have all my food storage and learn as much as I can so that when and if something does happen I will be able to keep my family safe and know what to do! My mom is helping with a preparedness fair and I cannot wait for it! About Me...

Ten years ago...
I was ten years old, I was in 4 grade Mrs. Denny was my teacher. I was friends with Carley Jeppsen, Shanty Hess, Suzie Rupp, Regina Gonzlas, Ashley Bird and so many more. I was way shy, but I loved hanging out with my friends, I loved to be outside and play made up games I had an amazing imagination! I had a club house in the loft of my grandparents barn and we played up there for hours on end.

Five years ago...
I was a freshman in high school. I had tons of friends we loved to have parties and dance! I only went to school for social reasons I hated actual school! I loved boys I had tons of guy friends and probably dated most of them, I had to go into the office every time I wore a skirt to see if it was long enough and it always was... the Mr. Bingham HATED me. My friends and I thought it was cool to walk home from school which we did a lot, we also loved to go and get slushies and Pizza Plus was the cool place to hang out.





Five Months ago...


It was October I was still getting use to being a mom, Isaiah was a 2 months old we spent a lot of time sleeping and not a whole lot more. Mike was working nights and working to get Sumsay up and going. It was Isaiah's first Halloween he was a cute little monkey and a duck!





Five things on my list to do today...


1. Clean the kitchen

6 months

Time is really flying by my baby is 6 months old as of yesterday... tear! He is so much fun tho and we are loving every minute of it!

Here are some things about 5 months that we want to remember!

15 lbs and 6 oz

We love you Isaiah you are so much fun and we are so lucky to have such a happy healthy baby! We thank our heavenly father daily for you!

Haircuts and Scooting...

Ok we didn't really give Isaiah a haircut more like a trim, I love his curls I couldn't bring myself to cutting them off! He was a pain in the bum when I was cutting so I didn't even think to pull out the camera I know bad bad mom I did save the hair tho! As of yesterday we have a very moble baby and man it is hard there is no more just lay here while mommy goes to the restroom... it is so much fun tho I love it! He looks like a little inch worm I will have to take video of this tricky kid and let you all get so humor out of my child! He is now 15 lbs and 6 oz HOLY COW BATMAN is right that means when he is getting lugged around in his car seat that baby is weighing a good 35 lbs no wonder I feel like I am going to fall over every time I pick him up! He is growing like a weed, it is so much fun to see him grow and learn each day! I am so lucky to be able to stay home and see him grow! He will be 6 months this Sunday blah I think about it and want to cry :( Hope you are all having a good week! Sorry there isn't any pictures I promise next time!

Love day

We had a great Valentines day this year, Friday night we went out to dinner with our good friends Jeff and Erin Holmstead we love doing things with them they always get us laughing they are so funny and we loved going with them! Saturday I helped my sister Kayla get things ready for her sweethearts dance, her and her friends are so funny they went rollerblading for the day date and wore these ice skating customs so funny! We also helped with the dinner which was fun Kayla looked so Beautiful! We then went and dropped off Isaiah, and for some reason I had a very hard time with it... I cried all the way to Texas Roadhouse which is were I wanted to go to dinner, we so delish food and I was more then ready to go and get my baby! When we got to mikes parents house Isaiah was super excited to see us which made me so happy! I love that he knows who we are and that he gets excited to see us it is so much fun! After spending some time with mikes family we went and waited for Kayla to be done with the dance so that she could spend the night at our house... Sunday we woke up and started getting ready for church, I was running around with my head cut off trying to get last minute things for my lesson ready Mike was telling me that some guy was coming to give Mike some papers and to make sure that I answered the door, I thought it was a little weird but didn't think to much of it with a minute before church started we were all almost ready to go I had to get so dirt I opened the front door and there was a lady with BEAUTIFUL roses and the best part is that they were for me lol! I am so lucky to have Mike as my husband he spoils me rotten and a lot of the times I don't deserve it but he does nice things for me any ways! I love him so much and I am so blessed to have married my best friend! I love that we have so much fun together and I am so excited to see what else our life will bring us! Kayla all ready

5 months old really??

Isaiah is now five months old, are you kidding me! REALLY?? I can not believe he is 5 months inside it is slowly killing me! It is biter sweet I am so looking forward to all the up coming milestones but at the same time I miss my 5 pound cuddle bug! I have seen a couple people do this and I wish I would have started it when he was first born but I didn't so now I am going to start and hopefully I will be able to remember to do it each month!

Isaiah is such a joy in our lives and we are so blessed to have him I don't know what we would do with out him and his cute face! I love being a mom and I am so THANKFUL to Mike for working as hard as he does so that I can stay home with our baby boy!
