About Me

My photo
We started our eternal family November 8, 2008 in the Logan temple. Our beautiful son was born August 28, 2009. We are so blessed to be parents we don't know what we would do without Isaiah! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives! We thank heavenly father daily! Mike builds and fixes computers, is trying to start up two businesses, going to school and is working for ThermoFisher. I get to work at Post High working with special needs students part time and be a full time mom I love both my jobs! We are busy to say the least but when we have free time we enjoy taking Isaiah to the park, going on walks, watching movies, and spending time with our wonderful friends and families!

Haircuts and Scooting...

Ok we didn't really give Isaiah a haircut more like a trim, I love his curls I couldn't bring myself to cutting them off! He was a pain in the bum when I was cutting so I didn't even think to pull out the camera I know bad bad mom I did save the hair tho! As of yesterday we have a very moble baby and man it is hard there is no more just lay here while mommy goes to the restroom... it is so much fun tho I love it! He looks like a little inch worm I will have to take video of this tricky kid and let you all get so humor out of my child! He is now 15 lbs and 6 oz HOLY COW BATMAN is right that means when he is getting lugged around in his car seat that baby is weighing a good 35 lbs no wonder I feel like I am going to fall over every time I pick him up! He is growing like a weed, it is so much fun to see him grow and learn each day! I am so lucky to be able to stay home and see him grow! He will be 6 months this Sunday blah I think about it and want to cry :( Hope you are all having a good week! Sorry there isn't any pictures I promise next time!

Love day

We had a great Valentines day this year, Friday night we went out to dinner with our good friends Jeff and Erin Holmstead we love doing things with them they always get us laughing they are so funny and we loved going with them! Saturday I helped my sister Kayla get things ready for her sweethearts dance, her and her friends are so funny they went rollerblading for the day date and wore these ice skating customs so funny! We also helped with the dinner which was fun Kayla looked so Beautiful! We then went and dropped off Isaiah, and for some reason I had a very hard time with it... I cried all the way to Texas Roadhouse which is were I wanted to go to dinner, we so delish food and I was more then ready to go and get my baby! When we got to mikes parents house Isaiah was super excited to see us which made me so happy! I love that he knows who we are and that he gets excited to see us it is so much fun! After spending some time with mikes family we went and waited for Kayla to be done with the dance so that she could spend the night at our house... Sunday we woke up and started getting ready for church, I was running around with my head cut off trying to get last minute things for my lesson ready Mike was telling me that some guy was coming to give Mike some papers and to make sure that I answered the door, I thought it was a little weird but didn't think to much of it with a minute before church started we were all almost ready to go I had to get so dirt I opened the front door and there was a lady with BEAUTIFUL roses and the best part is that they were for me lol! I am so lucky to have Mike as my husband he spoils me rotten and a lot of the times I don't deserve it but he does nice things for me any ways! I love him so much and I am so blessed to have married my best friend! I love that we have so much fun together and I am so excited to see what else our life will bring us! Kayla all ready

Well another week has gone by... and there still isn't a whole lot to blog about! Last Friday Mike, I, and Isaiah went out to dinner with our good friends Anne, Trent, and little miss Ruthie when we came back to our house and the babies played, Isaiah sat all by his self, and we played Disney Scene it don't worry Mike and I still haven't lost a game yet!

Saturday I went to a party with my mom, it's kinda like Mary Kay but with food storage stuff! It really opened my eyes and made me want to get on top of it! They were talking about the earthquake in Haiti, one of the ladies said that people are just dropping off their kids to people that they know has food, I starting BAWLING because I will have to drop Isaiah off at someones that I know has food and water and has listened to the counsel of the lord and got their food storage together, I don't think it is right that because I didn't listen/care that my little boy goes without food, that is what really opened my eyes and made me start caring anyways long story short I will be hosting a party sometime soon if any of you would like to come let me know and I will for sure make sure to invite you!

Monday we went to the movie Blindside with my family it is such a GREAT movie I loved it! I love movies like that, after I watch them it makes me want to go out and do something good for someone... have I done anything... NOPE.... do i plan on doing something I sure hope so! I will own this movie by the way 2 thumbs way up! If you haven't seen I would for sure go see it!

Today my cute husband gave me some money (Woot Woot) and said go and spend it how ever you want (woot woot again) so I went out and was able to get myself and Isaiah a new outfit! Oh how I LOVE the smell/feel/joy of buying clothes I do believe shopping is my drug. So anyways Isaiah just looked so STINKIN' cute in his new outfit we had to have a little photo shoot and he sat up all by his self pretty much the whole time! He is growing up way to fast it almost makes me want to start trying for another one! Key word in that sentence ALMOST!

Our friends Anne and Trent had a little girl in july, Anne and I worked together while we were pregnant. We always said that our kids have to get married lol, so the other night they came over to hang out! Isaiah and Ruthie hit it off! Isaiah was super tired so he wasn't loving the moment, but man miss cutie sure was she was trying to give Isaiah kisses and the whole bit! I am so glad that we have such good friends and it is so fun to be able to get our kids together! It will be fun as they get older just to see what all happens! Also our other good friends Eric and Shandi just found out they are having a GIRL! I am so excited for them, they are going to be such great parents! They are super cute with Isaiah so I know they will ROCK! Isaiah will be about 9 months when she is born but hopefully they can be friends as well! We are so blessed to have the people in our lives that we do, I know that I could call any of our friends if we needed anything and they would be more then willing to help with whatever! Thank you to all of you, you all mean the world to our family!
